  Review

I brought an S3 Snooper of of ebay for bout £119.99, all the way back in march, I brought as like most motorists i didnt want to risk my licence because of all the new speed cameras popping up everywhere.

It works fine after a warmup period of about thirty seconds, plugs straight into the cigerette lighter easy peezy.

Needs to be updated reguarly on the internet usually once a month as on the snooper website they reguarly update the location of new speed cameras, picks up all the new speed cameras, like the Specs, that pick you up as you enter a zone and then at the end of the zone and calculate the average speed, it beeps when you are in the zone and at the start aswell, it shows a visual warning and an audible warning that can be adjusted to turn the sound down. The audible warning is in the form of beeping which gets louder and quicker the closer you get and the visual warning is just red lights ranging from 1-5 when all are lit means your close.

It aslo picks up all fixed speed cameras and also handheld laser speed detector used by the police.

The only downside i can find is that it does pick up quite a few false alarms, but if you have the volume turned down it isnt that much of a distraction, and it will just cause you to slow down anyway, so its good in a way.

You can pay £100 for lifetime free updates, or £5 a month by direct debit,

Overall i would say it is a very attractive looking radar dectector, with great value for money (the cheapest GPS you can buy), and quite accurate most of the time.
